Frank Lloyd Wright was one of the most known and influential architect of the 20th century. Definitely it is showcased and reflected among his works. In the span of his 70 year career, he design over 1000 projects, over 500 of them were built. And guess what, over 400 of the buildings built are still standing.

He revolutionized the art and architecture of the 20th century by embracing the use of modern technology, materials and engineering to create the most influential buildings there is.

Furthermore, Wright was not confined only on architecture. He also designed furniture, fabrics, wallpapers, art glass, silver, linens, graphic arts and even lamps. He is also a writer who wrote countless articles and over twenty books, a philosopher, an educator and a super hero. It seems he tackled almost all point of interest in his field.

Prairie Styled House
Wrights foundation to greatness started upon his apprenticeship under Louis Sullivan. Wright grew and solidified his skills, idea and creativity under him. He was favored by his mentor and delivered a lot of expectations and achievements. What happened to the master apprentice relationship, that’s another story.

Some of his works are a byproduct of his experimentation and his love for nature. He even thought his students that “study nature, love nature, stay close to nature. It will never fail you”. Amongst these works are the Prairie style houses and the famous Falling Waters.
